Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School students played a pivotal role at the McAuley's Pub Night fundraiser on March 2nd, 2024, supporting the school's capital campaign for a new Monarch Wing. As part of the preparations, interns Emma Greenhalgh '24 and Lauren Kelly '24 created videos for the school's social media accounts to generate excitement about the auction items. During the event, the interns and student volunteers managed social media coverage, keeping attendees informed about various activities, including Irish dancers, live music, games, and food options. Student volunteers also played a crucial role by encouraging attendees to donate towards the purchase of a new range and oven for the Monarch Wing addition.

Attendees enjoyed a diverse menu featuring Irish beer-battered fish and chips, Guinness beef sliders, potato pancakes, and more. The proceeds from the event will support the A Place to Soar campaign, aimed at enhancing learning environments for students. Overall, McAuley's Pub Night was a memorable and impactful evening, showcasing the dedication and commitment of the Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School community towards enhancing the school's facilities and educational experiences for all students.
